A multi-disciplinary team of 39 people

There are 18 magistrates at the PNF with a variety of professional backgrounds:

  • Business skills, previously acquired during secondment or previous positions in the magistracy;
  • Competence in conducting complex criminal investigations, acquired as an investigating judge or in a prosecution service,
  • High capacity for legal analysis.

On a daily basis, 6 « special advisors » support prosecutors in legal or technical questions.

The 11 clerks ensure the regularity of procedures. They help the prosecutors in the performance of acts (searches of premises, interviews, etc). They play a key role in processing requests for international assistance. The team also includes 3 technical support people.

Since its creation, the PNF has been led by Eliane Houlette. She is assisted by a General Secretary and a Communication Manager.

Investigations managed by the PNF are conducted by 6 departments: the central office against corruption and financial and tax crimes (OCLCIFF) created on October 25, 2013, the central office dedicated to the policing of serious financial crimes (OCRGDF), the judicial police attached to the Prefecture of Paris, the National Judicial Customs Service, the Gendarmerie, and the regional departments of the judicial police.
